Ever set your blender render to go, only to come back after 10 hrs and see that it crashed half way through? Crash Detect will run in the background on your computer and send you an email if it detects a crash from Blender.
Render with peace of mind knowing with certainty you won't be returning to a failed render. Get notified so you have the ability to fix the problem and never waste time.

This is just V1 of the program. If we hit our funding goals, we will be developing V2 to send text messages, and monitor a wider scope of programs. Please send feedback! I really want to continue to advance this tool, but I need external, user feedback.

You'll get a download file for installing the program. Once installed, you will put your email in the "Edit Email" field and click "save." Click "Start Service" to begin monitoring your blender status. You can select "Run on System Startup" if you wish. Crash Detect runs in the background, so you can close this main window. You will find the crash detect icon in your hidden icons in the lower right of your desktop.
